This is more of a informative and here is my first attempt at it post.
SCROG which means Screen of Green which is really simple. It involved a trellis net that goes across the tent or wherever you are growing. You then use that net to help spread out the canopy throughout the net. This is a training technique similar to LST that gives you a flat even canopy. It is called a Screen of Green because if done correctly will result in a screen that is filled with green.
Below is a link with how to correctly do the SCROG technique. Below that is some photos of my attempt so far. As my girls grow into the net I will keep tucking them around until the whole screen is full. Then when I flip to flower they should all be even and uniform. Like with LST this will increase the light penetration and airflow. You will want to make sure you have a fan under the canopy and above. Once you get into flower and the screen is complete you can trim the stuff under the canopy as it will not be getting any light.
